Need a quick crockpot dinner tonight but want clean ingredients? This is right up your alley! Beautiful, fresh garlic parmesan sauce, fresh chicken, and noodles make this Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta mouth-watering!
Garlic Parmesan Sauce Ingredients
2 Tbs butter
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup white cooking wine
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
Garlic Parmesan Chicken Meal Ingredients
Parmesan garlic sauce
2-3 chicken breasts, diced or planked
8 ounces cream cheese, cut into pieces
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
parsley and red pepper flakes
½ cup chicken broth
10 ounces dry egg noodles, cooked in chicken broth and drained
Garlic Parmesan Sauce Directions
Heat a large sauté pan over medium-low heat. Add 2 Tbs butter and melt.
Add 2 cloves minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
Add ¼ cup white wine to the pan, and bring to a boil. Let simmer until the wine is almost gone, about 3 minutes.
Next, add 1 cup heavy cream and bring the sauce to a boil again.
Reduce the heat and simmer about 5-8 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese. Season to taste with sea salt and black pepper and serve as desired.
Garlic Parmesan Chicken Meal Directions
Inside a crockpot, layer the chicken, garlic parmesan sauce, 8 oz. cream cheese, a dash of parsley flakes, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes (optional), and ½ cup chicken broth.
Stir well and cook on Low for 3-4 hours or on High for 2-3 hours.
After meat and sauce has cooked, cook 10 oz. wide egg noodles according to the package instructions (they taste best when cooked in chicken broth!).
Drain the pasta noodles and stir into the sauce/chicken mixture.
Serve with crispy bread and side salad!
