Rev. Genessa Torsy is a writer, speaker, curriculum developer, and minister as well as life coach. An avid student of life, it is rare to find her without a notepad and pen in tow and a wrinkle in her brow!
Genessa Torsy has been a featured author for The Pentecostal Pen and A Passion Approach, including being a contributing author of the Passion Approach 365 Women's Daily Devotional. Her articles, teaching, singing, preaching, and coffee talks have reached men and women both stateside and abroad.
For 23 years, Genessa has devoted herself as a student of the Word, preaching alongside her husband. Aside from that, she has also served as a youth director and Sunday School teacher for both children and adults. During her time in Texas, she developed Sunday School curriculum for elementary as well as several bible studies for adult continued learning. While in the Southwest, she also served as music director, and fulfilled the role of both local and sectional ladies director within the Texico District. Genessa Torsy now resides in Southern Illinois, where she assists her husband, Rev. Nathan Torsy, in leading the great people of Apostolic Life Church of Carbondale, Illinois.
In her spare time, she also dabbles in vlogging for her food channel, providing recipes and tips for people to embrace a healthier lifestyle. She also provides consulting services for new homeschooling parents, assuring they are prepared for record-keeping and teaching their children. While her many endeavors may seem wide-ranging, it is all part of the mission for Genessa. Enabling people to live their best life in alignment with God's Word is her goal.
